Distant Shelter
Picture taken early evening on one of the more treacherous sections of the south west coastal path just outside of the small Cornish fishing port of Pollpero in the UK. This shot was taken from the edge of the cliff path well over 100 feet above the beach. This was the end of the line for me on this occasion as I was not prepared to try and negotiate the windswept crumbling cliff edge that can be seen in the bottom right of the picture.

A Time For Reflection
This picture was taken in an incredibly peaceful side chapel at Wells Cathedral in Somerset in the UK. The light streaming through the window on the right onto the alter lent a very spiritual atmosphere.

Geddington Bridge
A pleasant stroll through the picturesque Northamptonshire village of Geddington in the UK. This shot took considerable patience to achieve as the world and its dog appeared to also be out walking that afternoon along with that British tradition the Sunday driver, all of them upsetting the reflections in the river.

Mountain Pass
Picture taken from about half way up the tourist path 'the easiest one' of mount Snowdon in Wales, UK. I never did get to the top on that day as I lost motivation for the remaining climb after I realised I had left the spare camera batteries in the car. This shot, along with some others was however enough to compensate for the disappointment of not getting any pictures from the summit.

Stonehenge at Sunrise
Dawn on the 21 June, the one day of the year when there are no boundary ropes spoiling the view and complete and unfettered access is allowed to one of the great engineering feats from our ancient past. Need I say more.

Winnatts Pass
This Image is a digital painting from a photograph taken at Normans Cross in the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, in the UK. The 'bomb hole' appearance of Winnatts is very deceptive, the farm buildings centre right are several miles away and help put the size of the pass into perspective.

Submerged Fence Posts
I don't really know why I saw this picture other than its pure simplicity. It was taken at Snettisham wild bird reserve, Norfolk on the east coast of England.

Sunlit Woodland
This picture was taken at Cantoneign Falls in Devon, south west England and just within the bounds of Dartmoor National Park. The attraction of this scene to me was the play of bright summer sunlight penetrating through the leafy canopy into the shadows below. I don think I have ever seen so many different shades of green 'far more than was captured here in the picture', still I gave it my best shot.

Windmill
A working relic of our not to distant industrial past that is situated in the Lincolnshire market town of Boston in the UK.
