(slightly off topic) My side of the room! lol

3) I share a room with my boyfriend BUT we each have a side of the room and our own beds…
I had been sleeping on a futon pad laying on a “box spring” (this was after a few months sleeping on a futon pad directly on a wood floor, not too comfortable for a long time either way. ick) and I finally decided I wanted a Malm bed frame from IKEA, not too much space on my side of the room so I went down there expecting to pick up a twin (already had a twin size mattress, made sense) but I ended up picking up a brown/black full size. heh
We did not purchase one of their bed base wood slat sets however…
My boyfriend installs flooring and I figured we should just make use of some of their spare hardwood flooring boards, and make use of them we did!
I decided I really didn’t want it that direction so we did some fiddling of furniture on my side and once it was all set up (but not cleaned up, things are never “done” around here. haha) I took another photo:
The wall mounted “night stand”/shelf is a Benno from IKEA, the shelves are perfect height for some nick-knacks and the bottom shelf holds a water bottle on a coaster at night…
To the left is my makeshift dresser/shelf which is two Lack shelves stacked together.
It might look odd in the close up because it looks like my stereo with one speaker, that aims at his side of the room, the other speaker is on the shelf below pointing my way 
We also use one of those curtain lines to divide the room and we have an IKEA tablecloth as a curtain in between, might sound funny to use a tablecloth but years ago when I saw it I was planning to make a skirt out of it! lol
